Okay, I am all about giveaways these days. BIG NEWS!

As one might presume, a lot has happened in my life since my last update post-summer camp. I finished my fourth year in college, realized I still have 1.5 years left to go, lived with Kimmy Morley, Jessie Smith, Erica Neuffer, Jennifer Wall, and Brittany Sidwell, taught skiing at Sundance, went to Mexico and Hawaii in a two-month period, and became absolutely obsessed with Red Mango.

Oh ya, and I started dating one of my best friends from my freshman year at BYU, fell in love with him, and agreed to marry him.

Yep, I am engaged. Date: August 18, 2009. Location: Mesa, AZ LDS Temple.

To be honest, I've always thought I would completely unexcited to get married even when I did find "Mr. Right." I didn't understand how so many people could get married and be blissfully happy like it's just the natural, correct thing to do. The countless divorces in my immediate and extended family have made me a marriage cynic. "I am perfectly happy on my own!" I once thought.

I have proved myself wrong. Marriage is exciting and oh-so-right when you find "Mr. Right" in the form of Jared Scott Verzello.

I know you want to see a picture of the ring. It's coming, I just don't want to disrespect it by posting some crappy picture. Think classic tiffany's style 18k gold band with platinum crown and a very sparkly diamond. It's the bomb diggity!!
